Role, Significance and themes of a state in Islamic and Modern theoretical framework: A comparative study

Abstract

This paper aims to explore the state in two contexts, Islamic paradigm and modern theoretical framework .Injunctions of Islam in the area of state can be extracted from the Quran and Sunnah, especially in the era of Madina. Modern secular theoretical framework has been elaborated by the thinkers of western world of the area. Political Discourse Analysis (PDA) method will be adopted to explore best possible findings and analysis role of the state. Islam states that Islamic doctrine of the state is so much significant to fulfill its requirements. In contrary, modern thought focuses on the welfare of the humanity and rule of Law. In conclusion we can find points of intersection in the both paradigms.
